La Palma

The city of La Palma (Spanish for "The Palm") is located in Orange County, California. In 2010, there were 15,568 residents, up from 15,408 in 2000. La Palma ranked 31st in CNN's Money magazine's 2013 list of the "best places to live" in small cities (50,000 or less). As of 2007, it was ranked 16th best place to live in the United States. According to the rankings, the neighborhoods are small and friendly, the school system is highly ranked, the crime rate is low, and the police response time is the quickest in Orange County.
